We’re always on the lookout for new vegan products at bargain prices. While it’s true that vegan products can be costlier than non-vegan alternatives, this doesn’t have to be the case. Here we showcase some great vegan-friendly cosmetics we’ve tried and loved this year – and you can try each of them yourself for less than a tenner!

This Essence mascara is an excellent alternative to more expensive options if you’re looking to create a dramatic lash look. It has loads of great reviews and, having tried it myself; I can say it’s a fantastic product for the price. The packaging, which is made from recycled materials, is super cute with raised details and a feminine, corset-style design.
Dr Organic Coffee Espresso Face Scrub
This face scrub from Dr Organic smells fantastic! It’s my new favourite scrub to help me wake up in the morning as it’s formulated with organic coffee bean extract, refreshing mint and a blend of nettle, guarana and ginger. This scrub helps to buff away dead skin cells to reveal smooth, healthy skin with a polished glow.
Phoera Face Primer
This friendly face primer from Phoera is the perfect makeup base. It’s easy to apply and blends beautifully to create a base that improves the look of your makeup and helps it last all day. It contains added vitamins to help protect against environmental pollutants and fight premature ageing. This cruelty-free, vegan makeup is an absolute bargain, this has been my go-to primer for some time now.
Faith in Nature Natural Shea and Argan Hair Mask
This natural, deeply nourishing hair mask from Faith in Nature is made with fair trade argan and shea butter extracts. Designed to treat very dry hair and scalps, this vegan and environmentally friendly product comes highly reviewed. All products from this brand are plant-based and cruelty-free with 100% natural fragrances. Not only does it smell great, but it’ll help repair your hair during the harsh winter months.
St Moriz Professional Clear Tanning Mousse
There’s nothing like a good fake tan to bring the colour back to your skin during the cold winter months. This clear tanning mousse from St Moriz is infused with vitamin E and aloe vera to leave your skin feeling smooth and moisturised. The clear formula means you can leave it on during the day, or night, to develop without the issue of transfer onto clothes or bedding.
